Very recently, a Christian friend in Georgia sent me some information about a website on the Internet that I feel all thinking Americans, North and South, should really take time to go and look at. It is theobamafile.com and what it is is an in depth look at the current president of the United States and just how far to the left he really is. I went into this website and checked out just one section of the info on him, the section on his political views. That section, alone, covered 93 pages. I can only imagine how much material is covered in the other sections.

Mr. Obama may not be a Communist, but he is the closest thing to it that you can possibly be without actually being one. His political views are on the extreme left, which I am sure most Americans, thanks to our prostitute press, have no real conception of.

The Obama File states the following: "Barack Obama was born of Marxists; mentored by a communist writer and activist; spent his college days hanging around radical activists; worked as a radical community organizer, learning the radical tactics of the communist, Alinsky; attended a radical church; was introduced to Chicago politics by a communist in the home of another communist; and today lends his political skills to the international goals of radical activists, and had radicals working on his campaign and in his administration." Not exactly a glowing commendation!

Continuing on, The Obama File notes an in-depth article written by Cliff Kinkaid for Accuracy in Media, the title of which was Obama's Communist Mentor. The man this article is about, Frank Marshall Davis, was a radical poet and writer. The file says: Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his poetry and getting advice on his career path." Obama mentions this man in his book Dreams From My Father. However, Obama doesn't refer to Mr. Davis' Communist credentials in that book. That really would give the game away. He just refers to him as "Frank." Davis was a friend of Paul Robeson, a black actor and singer who was also a member of the Communist Party and a famous apologist for the Soviet Union.

The file observes: "Professor Gerald Horne, a history professor at the University of Houston, noted that Davis, came into contact with Barack Obama and his family and became the young man's mentor, influencing Obama's sense of identity and career moves."

In his own writings, Davis noted that Robeson, and also Harry Bridges, who was the head of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (and a secret member of the Communist Party) had suggested that he (Davis) take a job as a columnist for the Honolulu Record, the idea being that "I could do something for them." So much for an objective media! But, then all the way back to Karl Marx's articles for Horace Greeley's newspaper, we've never had an objective media.

Dr. Kathryn Takara, professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Hawaii also confirmed that Frank Davis is the "Frank" in Obama's book. Asked why she thought Obama neglected to identify Frank in his book by his full name, she said "Maybe he didn't want people delving into it."Obviously he didn't want his Communist connection exposed, so best to just ignore it. The file also stated that "Davis taught courses at the party controlled Abraham Lincoln School in Chicago and attended meetings of the party's Cultural Club until he left for Hawaii in 1948."

Interestingly, Davis' name was also on the letterhead for a group called the American Committee for protection of the Foreign Born. This was a Communist front group from 1935 until about 1980. Other well-known party members listed on the letterhead were "civil rights" activists Carl and Anne Braden. Mr. Braden once appeared at an art school on the East Coast to lecture the unknowing students. While there he posed as a "community organizer" which seems to be a favourite title for Communists when they go out in public to brainwash ordinary folks. I supposed you could say that "Community organization is the last refuge of Communists."

According to the file; "When Obama decided to go to Chicago in 1983 to become a 'community organizer' he was inspired by that year's election of Chicago's first black mayor, Harold Washington. A long time friend of the Chicago Communist Party, Washington would have almost centainly known Frank Marshall Davis from his post-War student days. It would be interesting to know if Frank Marshall Davis ever told the young Obama about Harold Washington and his leftist connections. What connection did Obama have to Chicago other than his boyhood mentor Frank Marshall Davis?"
